So my husband and step daughters dig breakfast bakes. I have never had a bite of one in my entire life!!  So I remember when my husband and I got married I told all of the kids that we are going to keep the food in the house pretty healthy so now more frozen hot pockets in our freezer, my step daughter Ashley was devastated!!!  So one day I made up a recipe to give them all a big treat…I hope you like it, apparently it’s really good!!!!

Ingredients

Two cans of Crescent Rolls

8 oz of cream cheese

1 lb. Spicy Italian Sausage

3/4 pound of crumbled cooked bacon

12 eggs

2-3 cups of finely shredded cheese (I use the four cheese blend)

Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Bake for around 45 minutes to an hour.  If it gets to brown on top tent it with a piece of foil. Enjoy!!

Brown the sausage and then drain it.

Then add the cream cheese and mix well.

This is how it should look after it’s mixed.

 Spray the bottom of the 9×13 pan with cooking spray then add one can of the crescent rolls on the bottom, pinch the creases so there is no pan showing on the bottom, bake it for about 10 minutes.

I love this cheese (for everything!) I get it at Costco and it’s a great deal!

I get my bacon from the market near my house, it’s on the salad bar!! Cheap and no mess in my kitchen!!

Sometimes I use the original but the Butter Flake one is great as well!

After you pull the pan from the oven with the one layer of rolls gently spoon over the sausage and cream cheese mixture.

then add the eggs over that…

then sprinkle the cheese and bacon…

then finally top it off with the other crescent rolls and bake!!!
