Today like always I struggle about the cemetery to go or not to go.  I don’t feel comfort yet I have guilt about as well.  I think once again I will choose not to go as he is always with me and I want to focus on what feels good to my heart.  I am looking forward to spending my day with my beautiful, amazing, loving, kind and sweet daughter….The light of my life Ms. Morgan.

fsssshhhhhh (that’s the water coming out of the faucet), I then grab my hand towel to wipe off my face as she is telling me about something and a moment later I feel something on my cheek…

Laura is screaming back at me, “Are you okay!!! Is someone in the house, what’s wrong!!!!!!!!!”

This is what’s wrong!!!!!!  This animal with 14,545 legs was hanging out on my hand towel and ended up on my cheek!!!  I am not exaggerating that it was three inches long!!!! It was so big that I thought I was going to have a heart attack!!!!

I don’t know where they come from but I will tell you I really, really don’t like them.  Happy Spring and watch out for these dudes they are nasty!!!!

Now for the “in between” illness.  There is a cough, a cold, a cough+cold, fever and no cold, fever and no cough, sore throat no fever, sore throat no cold.  Isn’t it endless?

Then there is also the “fake illness” when they have a huge test they are not prepared for, a paper due that’s not done or plain old drama.

So here’s the story… after Morgan had a sleepover at one of her best friends house for her birthday the sickness came on at full speed ahead. She got into my car Sunday morning and after saying thank you we got into the car and that’s when she went from perky and sweet to sneezing and complaining.  Was she sick, mmmmmmmmm????

After sleeping most of the day I made an executive Mom decision with the proof put in my face by my little chick…

Ingredients:

Brussels Sprouts

Olive Oil

Lemon Juice

Lemon Rind

Dijon Mustard

Parmesan Cheese

Sea Salt and Black Pepper

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.  Take a couple of giant cookie sheets and wash and dry the Brussels sprouts really well.  In a separate bowl make your vinaigrette.  I am not going to give you exact measurements because it all depends on how many you make.  Just add a little of each ingredient and whisk away.  After you scatter the sprouts on the cookie sheets drizzle the marinade over them and toss them so they are coated.  Save some extra cheese on the side to add during the cooking process and to top after they are all finished.  You can never have enough cheese!!!!

If you have a convection button on your oven rock that bad boy on as well, it really makes them caramelized.  I roast them until they are fork tender and browned.  Enjoy and soon you will be addicted to them as well..

pour it over the sprouts and top it with tons of cheese.

I was about to prepare my dinner and I grabbed a few of my giant carrots out of the bag that is in my refrigerator.  I was alone in the kitchen and started laughing out loud.  What is this?  A sign for me?  My first thought was OMG cuter a heart carrot, ahhhh I feel the love, but then Morgan came downstairs and saw it and now I no longer thought it was a cute heart carrot just for me to enjoy but now it was a carrot in the shape of a butt.  Basically it was an orange Kim Kardashian upside down.  When you first saw this picture what did you think it looked like????

Well now I am not eating a piece of love I am eating an ass.

Yes this blog was random but so is my life!!!!!!

I am not going to lie to you all when I tell you I had the most incredible date last night with Rob Lowe.  He was one of the most romantic, sexy, funny, smart and charming man I have ever met.  I grew up in Los Angeles and I remember chasing him down in 1987 with my super beetle convertible trying desperately to get side by side with him in his white Porsche 911.  Well 25 years later it finally happened!!  Don’t we make a cute couple!!!!!!!

He picked me up and took me to this amazing dinner up on a cliff over looking the ocean.  The food was insane as the Chef kept bringing us plate after plate of his culinary creations.  It was nothing short than incredible bites of food porn.

After that incredible dining experience we got into his car and headed down the coast to his house at Malibu Beach.  As we walked in the view from the front entry was sublime.  The whole back of the house was glass and the sound of the ocean was mesmerizing.

He led me into the living room where there was a roaring fire going.  I asked him if we could tape these moments as I didn’t think anyone would actually believe what is happening.  He turned on the video on his IPhone and we made out like we were 16 years old.  Let me tell you ladies this man knows how to kiss!!! For the love of God I can barely breath until…

BEEP BEEP BEEP…

Really my damn alarm is going off right now?  Are you kidding me?  Do you not realize the moment that Rob and I are sharing!!!!!! Now I turn my alarm off at 5:15 am and I am ready to throw myself through a window….Rob please for the love of God once again come back and visit me tonight!!!!!!

I will start off by saying we did not find a dress for her but she looked damn good in all of them!!!  As I was sitting back in the giant dressing room with her going through all of the choices she brought back the what I thought was a very nice employee sauntered back to me with the necklace sent from God.

Let me start off by saying I was already wearing 3 chokers around my neck that literally weighed 46 pounds then she tempted me with this turquoise piece of genius.

D.  It was not on sale!!!!
