Blackberry and Fig Dressed Salad Galore!!

Jun 11th, 2012 | By | Category: Recipes, Seafood, Vegetables

This salad rocked the house down last night!!! I typically make all of my dressings homemade but when I was a the store I saw this one and it sounded amazing so I thought I would give it a shot.  I am so glad I did it was delicious!!!!!  This is another one of my salad combinations that you can add any protein that you like.

If you all can’t tell I am slightly addicted to salmon!! First of all salmon on the grill is like a gift from heaven, so moist and the flavor is always perfect and the fact that it is so good for you how can you not want to shove a giant piece in your mouth everyday?? I know I am so ladylike when I talk about shoving salmon in my mouth!!!

Fillet of Salmon

Organic Romaine Lettuce

Yellow Cherry Tomatoes

Green Onions

Asparagus (steamed)

Bella’s Blackberry and Fig Dressing

Bragg’s Nutritional Yeast Seasoning

I threw the Salmon on a big piece of foil and grilled it with a little bit of my Greek Seasoning and a hint of Cayenne Pepper.  While that was cooking I steamed a big bunch of the asparagus for about 5 minutes.

Just throw all of the other ingredients into a big bowl and once the Salmon is finished you can pop it on top!!  I can’t eat dairy so I thought I would try Nutritional Yeast as they say it has a similar flavor.  It was damn good!! It just added a tinch of something that helped pull the salad together.  If you can eat dairy you could add some Asiago, Parmesan or a little Blue Cheese or Feta.  That would just help enhance some of the other flavors.

Seriously this stufff is GOLDEN!!

This was way  better than I thought it would be.  By the way do like the the shot on top of the coffee maker? It was good lighting!!

YUM YUM YUM YUM YUM did you get the message???  Enjoy everyone and I am wishing you all a day full of SPARKLES!! xoxoxoxoxxoxoxoxxo
